After hours of Jack using the little green machine to clean Ziggy’s mess off the office carpet while I scrubbed our bathroom down with Lysol wipes, I finally dragged us up to Lory State Park to hike Arthur’s Rock. After only five cranky minutes of stumbling over rocks, we decided to turn back and hang out in the field, letting the dogs run free while we watched the sunset and snapped some photos.

I’m so glad we made that choice. It reminded us why we love these little adventures — and it jump-started this website.
